Address by Mr. Benjamin Amoah, (CA), Chairman of Gomoa Community Bank Ltd at the 3rd annual general meeting 2022 states that It gives him a great pleasure to welcome all members to the 3rd Annual General Meeting of Gomoa Community Bank Ltd (GoCB).
Firstly, on behalf the Board of GoCB, we thank you all for your continued trust, encouragement and support to the company and its management. The year 2021 was another challenging year for GoCB and the banking industry in Ghana as a whole. The year proved to be the beginning of the turnaround for your company. At our 2nd AGM held last year, we shared with you updates of Gomoa Community Bank Turnaround Strategy (GCoBATS). A strategy undertaken with a view to achieve superior business performance in terms of profitability and cash flows. In this context, we are pleased to inform you that your company experienced growth in 2021 with a rise in operating revenue, while continuing to focus on improving business mix and profitability. Your company achieved further improvement in operating parameters during the year. Considering these achievements, I would like to compliment the management of your company for its excellent performance for the year under review.
