JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Assist the Head of MIS to oversee all technology operations (e.g. network security) and evaluate them according to established goals.
  • Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.
  • Assist to rectify all identified systems problems.
  • Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency (verify that, computers and other IT peripherals are working properly).
  • Assist to identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to Head of MIS.
  • Assist in the implementation of systems control to ensure that only authorized users have access to the company systems.
  • Investigate, diagnose and solve computer software and hardware faults.
  • Install and update /Activate ESET Endpoint Security (Antivirus).
  • Ensure that all staff comply with IT and security policies.
  • Response to IT related complaints from staff.
  • Assist to train non-technical staff on standard operating procedures and best practices.
  • Compile monthly status report to Head of IT Department.
  • Carry out any other activity assigned by management and the Head of MIS

Job Requirements  

  • First Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline or any other professional qualification.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Good planning, quantitative and analytical skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  1. Develop and implement compliance model required for a Bank to operate within acceptable standards.
  2. Liaise with senior managers to ensure proper implementation of established compliance policies.
  3. Review internal Bank policies to ensure they align with external banking regulations.
  4. Conduct research to identify new regulations/laws passed by governing bodies.
  5. Monitor client financial activities to ensure they are legal and in compliance with internal and external Bank policies.
  6. Collaborate with Internal Audit Department to forward compliance issues for investigation.
  7. Develop systems for handling and resolution of policy violation.
  8. Monitor the operations and procedures of different sections of the Bank to ensure overall compliance.
  9. Carry out assessments to identify areas of potential compliance risks to implement preventive/corrective strategies to address compliance issues.
  10. Provide reports on regular basis to senior management to keep them updated on progress of compliance operations.
  11. Organize compliance programs to educate staff on recent and already existing compliance requirements.
  12. Update and implement risk assessment framework.
  13. To check onboarding customers, including high risk customers.
  14. Report suspicious transactions.
  15. Review customers’ financial transactions to determine if there are any signs of money laundering or other illegal activity taking place.
  16. Investigate suspicious transactions for potential fraud or criminal activity.
  17. Analyze financial data to detect potential money laundering activities such as large cash deposits or wire transfers involving multiple countries.
  18. Conduct training sessions on AML policies and procedures to employees who handle financial transactions or are involved in risk assessment activities.
  19. Report suspicious activities to Bank of Ghana or law enforcement agencies.
  20. Maintain an updated list of Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs).
  21. Monitor new trends in financial crimes to identify new methods of money laundering.
  22. Recommend changes to AML procedures to increase effectiveness of compliance programs and detect criminal activity more quickly.
  23. Investigate information provided by banks, businesses, or other entities regarding possible violations of anti-money laundering laws.
  24. Perform any other duties assigned by the Board and CEO from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  1. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Economics, Banking, or related business discipline. Or Part Professional certifications such as CRCM, CBCO, or CRCP or full Professional qualification such ICAG, ACCA or CIB
  2. Must have knowledge in T24 Banking software and in credit administration
  3. Must be a team player and have the ability to handle complex issues
  4. Must have interpersonal communication skills
  5. Excellent analytical skills

Reports to: Head of Human Resources

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Head of Human Resource.
  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, staff durbars, training, etc)
  • Compile, maintain and update employee record details by ensuring accuracy and confidentially. Prepare HR reports and documentation as needed.
  • Support the Head of HR in coordinate recruitment efforts including job postings, resume screening, shortlist candidates for new role and interview scheduling.
  • Assist in conducting background checks on new recruits.
  • Assist with the onboarding process and orientation of new employees.
  • Prepare new recruit bank details for payroll purpose.
  • Assist in organizing training and development program for employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Filling of all human resource related documents to ensure easy tracing, location and proper custody of files.
  • Assist in the provision of administrative support to management by arranging meetings and durbars and writing letters, circulars, memos and minutes
  • Assist in resolving employee grievances and provide guidance on HR-related issues while maintaining a positive work environment

Job Requirements
a. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Administration, Secretaryship and related field from a recognized University with a minimum of 2 years’ work experience.
b. MBA in HRM and a Chartered HRMP is an added advantage.
